This is North Bend and Mt.Si from Rattlesnake Ledge. East is right, West is left, looking north.

We live on a 1.3 acre lot, at the end of a 300' driveway, 3/10 mile south of Interstate 90. There is a Christmastree farm across the street from our driveway. Behind us is 40+ acres of partially developed, acreage properties, with some swampy areas on it, and with power lines running the length of it on the far side. The neighbors immediately behind us are on 5 acres.

This whole area usually contain elk and deer, which frequently make their way thru our yard, stopping to nibble, and fertilizing the grass and weeds as they go. We've seen the requisite coyote, possum, and of course, raccoons. We've seen a bobcat and black bear in our backyard. And, we have even seen a turkey. We first saw it 12/9/2000. Wendy thru out some old bread for it, and it stayed with us for 10 days, then it was gone, not to be seen since(probably someone's xmas dinner). It even slept on our front porch railing at night, getting some warmth from our xmas lights.
